Adults and adolescents:

- Short term therapy usually lasts between 8 to 12 sessions where the focus is usually problem specific and attention is placed on developing skills to help alleviate symptoms and increase current functioning.

- Longer term therapy provides a supportive and containing structure where a deeper understanding of oneself and ones difficulties can be explored, whereby facilitating a process of growth and change.

 

Group Therapy

I also offer various structured therapeutic and skills based groups. Current groups include:

·         A Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT) skills training group

·         A therapeutic group for the family members and/or loved ones of someone with addiction.

Assessment

       All forms of psychometric assessment offered for educational, diagnostic or treatment purposes.  These include cognitive, scholastic, vocational, neuropsychological, emotional or perceptual.

Training & Workshops

       I provide training and workshops on a variety of topics including basic counselling skills, ethics and varied subjects related to the field of addiction studies and treatment.
